To walk down the narrow storefront in which this Northern Indian cuisine restaurant has been inserted is to get lost in a dark jungle, complete with a stuffed monkey and intricately woven cloths that hang from the ceiling. The bar is tiny and chairless; drinks are only available at a table. The staff is accommodating and congenial but if you’re looking to get Bombayed out of your mind, there are more drunk-friendly places in SoHo to get numb and dumb.
